Roselyn Nnema Okon, a.k.a Miss Harmony (fondly called Harmony) is a fast rising Nigerian music diva. With voice like that of Waje and Omawunmi combined, she is set to be the next big female act from Africa.
Born in Abeokuta Ogun state on the January 31st, 1989 to Mr and Mrs Okon of Yakur Local Government in Cross River state, the talented singer and song writter discovered her love for music at the age of 9 and started in the choir with great encouragement from her parents who insisted she must first go to school which she did and obtained a diploma from Ferederal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, Imo state.
Miss Harmony started music professionally in 2012 with her first song “GOOD LOVING” produced by young roc . In that same year she released two songs KOKODIKO and MY TOLU produced Mr. Somiks.
In 2013, she was signed under the management of THREE SEVEN RECORDS and her hit single ‘ ‘OKOLOBIA’ produced by Wispa, was released on the 7th of December 2013. This was followed by ‘KILODE’ in April 2014. KILODE is an afro beat genre with a pop fusion, also produced by Wispa.
When asked about her goals and ambitions in the music industry, she simply said “I will bring u Grammy”. Harmony believes African music needs more of the original afro style and wish to infuse this in her music. The genres of her music includes R n’ B, Pop, Lovers rock and afro. She speaks English, Igbo, Yoruba and her native Ekori languages which are obvious in her lyrics and makes her music enjoyed by many. She has performed on great stages and shows like Roadblock Enugu (2012) and Star the Trek in Benin, Ekiti and Lagos (2014)
