[NEWS] Ongoing Riot At University Of Uyo?

Reports just reaching me suggests there is an unrest at the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom

state. Details are sketchy at this moment but a mail I just got says a student of Zoology department in the school has lost his/her life.
I learnt that the school's Faculty of science was moved to the permanent site and the school failed to provide transportation, hostel accommodation etc for these students. These are the factors which resulted in this riot as I hear. Right now, men of the police force are firing teargas sporadically into the air and students are seen leaving the school


We appeal to authorities to restore peace and tranquility within the institution as soon as possible.
